prosperity

"Seek first the Kingdom of God and He will take care of everything" - Matthew 6:33

God is the perfect steward over all things in life. No one can or will do a better job of helping you succeed in life than God.

When you let God handle your affairs, He will supply all your needs according to His riches and glory and you cannot get better or be supplied with better than what God has (Philippians 4:19). He will provide you with everything for your enjoyment and to enjoy everyday life (1Timothy 6:17).

If you seek the Kingdom, God's presence and where He dwells, then prosperity will come to you and everything God has will be yours.

Pursue God, and then abundance will come because God will generously provide all that you need with plenty left over to share with others (2 Corinthians 9:8).

When you have accepted the Lord Jesus Christ into your heart and life, you now have access to your inheritance and His Kingdom. Your prosperity will come from Heaven—the Kingdom you are now part of.

God's Kingdom is more than money or resources. It's also favor and grace. You have now become God's child which means you'll be treated good and taken care of (James 1:17, Psalm 84:11, Psalm 34:8).

God is not like some of our fathers who are neglectful, irresponsible or selfish. He is attentive, caring, provides, and takes care of all our needs (1Peter 5:7, Matthew 6:25-34, Genesis 28:15).

God wants everyone to know that He is good by giving you the things you need like peace and prosperity (Jeremiah 33:9). How else will people see how good He is if it's not proven, and prosperity is one way people see how good God is toward us.

For those of us who have a relationship with God we should be asking Him to show us the secret to our success. And when you do, be patience and have faith. Because through your life seasons the steps to success will be revealed.

We allow the adversary to influence us to believe that what we're waiting for won't happen. Once this lie is planted and impressed in our thoughts, we start doing things ourselves and in our own way causing us to no longer be on the path of divine prosperity.

If you're not careful, you can be easily tricked in other ways too like following someone else to achieve success.

Following other people can cause you to act out of God's divine will making it important to only focus on Him and not others for your success. The pathway for your individual success is already planned out.

Other people's pathway is specifically designed for them. What they do and how they do it, is for them. You must discover your own pathway to live a fulfilled life and to no longer look at other people for answers—no matter how tempting it is.

Eventually, you will get to a point where all you look for or pursue is God's predestined prosperity plan for your life. Then you will stop being distracted or swayed by other people's success.

When someone presents an opportunity to you, you'll know if it's part of God's plan for your life or not, causing you to always make the right choices. Proverbs 3:14-15 TLB says, "The man who knows right from wrong and has good judgment [wisdom] and common sense is happier than the man who is immensely rich! For such wisdom is far more valuable than precious jewels. Nothing else compares with it."

Then Ecclesiastes 7:11 NIV says, Wisdom, like an inheritance, is a good thing and benefits those who see the sun [alive]. God will give you wisdom on how to access your prosperity.

In the Bible David lived this truth and many others are living this truth today. They live in God's favor (Psalm 5:12, Luke 2:52).

Living in God's Prosperity

Did you know that God takes pleasure in our prosperity? We should be lending and not people who borrow and be the ones that people come to when in need instead of the other way around (Deuteronomy 15:6, Deuteronomy 28:13).

We should have ownership and control over businesses, real-estate, banks, systems, etc. (Joshua 21:43, Genesis 15:18, Genesis 28:4, John 15:7). And the remarkable thing about it is, you don't have to hustle or grind for it (Proverbs 10:22).

"And since we are his children, we are his heirs. In fact, together with Christ we are heirs of God’s glory. But if we are to share his glory, we must also share his suffering."

— Romans 8:17 (NLT).

There's an inheritance waiting for you when you are part of the family of Christ where real-estate, ownership, authority, and wisdom to unlock doors of opportunity are available.

God is a good Father who wants us to have everything we need by making everything in His Kingdom available to us.

What is in God's Kingdom? Wealth, prosperity, perfect health, wholeness, abundance, favor, protection, solutions and strategies for life, insight, wisdom, power, faith, joy, peace, loyalty, goodness, kindness, gentleness, excellence, unconditional love, perfect love, acceptance, value, boldness, authority, purpose, and much more.

This list barely scratches the surface. It will take a lifetime and more to know all that's available. And afterward you'll still discover there's more you haven't seen (1 Corinthians 2:9).

Make the right investment. When you invest with God you will reap what you sow, and you will gain abundance from Him—they will all come to you (Galatians 6:7).

Once you get a glimpse of what God has, you will 'put all your eggs in one basket' and depend solely on God for your success and plan of action.

What God says is certain. It is practical and for today. And when you pay attention to His instructions, then you will prosper.

This truth is not up for debate. Many will come and try to persuade you to doubt the validity of what God is saying concerning your prosperity. However, it's a ruse to steal, kill and destroy you. Steal, kill, and destroy your plans and future. But God has come so you may not only have a future but have it to the fullest (John 10:10).

You may not grasp it at first because it’s abnormal and uncommon from what we're accustomed to (Isaiah 55:8-9). But as you trust God through the process you will see results.

The Kingdom of Heaven operates differently than our world's reality. But as you apply these Biblical principles in your life, they will make sense as they are revealed, and you are living in it (Luke 17:20-21).

But are you willing to lose what costs now to gain later? (Mark 10:29-30).

The lesson that Jesus wanted to show the rich man in Mark 10:17-27 was, if you invest everything into Him you will gain 100-fold back.

Here are some more Scriptures where God promises prosperity, and what's required.

He promises prosperity

What is required is trust:

Proverbs 22:7 (Satan wants you to borrow because he knows the fallout when it's).

What is required is seeking God:

What is required is not loving money:

What is required is the right character, thought, and motive:

What is required is to give:

Malachi 3:10-11 (It will put a seal of protection around the 90% so the devour cannot take it)

Malachi 3:8 (Don't be a thief)

What is required is the Holy Spirit:

Ask Him | Aren't you more valuable to Him:

A call for salvation

When you accept Jesus Christ as your Savior, His spirit will come to live inside you. This is one of the greatest blessings of salvation. You don't have to go through someone else to get to God, and He will live in your heart where you and Him become one and have a relationship.

All you have to do is make the choice of salvation by repenting of your sins and accepting Jesus into your life by confessing that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that He came from Heaven to die for your sins (Romans 10:9).

Once you have done this, please pray and ask God to guide you to a church where you can grow, mature, and start living the abundant life Jesus promised and died for.

Here's a prayer you can repeat:

"Jesus, I confess that you are Lord, and I believe you died and was risen for my sins. I repent and ask for forgiveness of my sins, and I accept you as my personal Lord and Savior. Come into my heart and remove my sins. Thank you for forgiving me and making me into a new person in Jesus' name, Amen."
