Peace is God's Guard over our Mind and Thoughts

Updated: Sep 17

"You just need to be still, and the Lord will fight for you.”

There are moments when our best course of action is to simply do nothing, say nothing, have faith, and to trust that things will unfold as they are meant to. It invites us to release our anxieties and fears to God, knowing that we are not alone in facing life's challenges. By letting go of the need to always be in the driver's seat or in control, we open ourselves up to God's peace that comes from giving our burdens to Christ.

"Be still, and the Lord will fight for you" is a reminder that we do not have to face our struggles alone and know that God's guiding light is working on our behalf. This truth can offer hope and resilience in times of difficulty, reminding us that we are supported and protected, even when the path ahead may seem uncertain.

Peace

God's peace protects our minds and thoughts. It's what protects us from anxiety, fear, turmoil, and any other issues that make us unsettled.

Throughout history, the world has never experienced a period of complete peace. In various parts of the globe, nations, communities, families, and individuals continue to grapple with unrest. Therefore, finding a resolution is needed.

This is why God said, "Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid," in John 14:27.

When you are confronted with individuals, situations, or circumstance that are unpeaceful, God's peace will become your protection and barrier from allowing the unpeaceful feeling from entering your mind and thoughts.

Although we will face challenges in life, God reassures us to remain calm as He has already conquered the world's troubles on our behalf, enabling us to experience a life filled with joy, peace, and contentment (John 16:33).

When you understand the Bible's role in your life, you'll see how important it is for your everyday living. It'll shows you how you can protect yourself from moments that want to steal your joy.

“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”

— John 16:33

You will find that you don't need to engage in battles, just stand your ground and let God take care of it for you (2 Chronicles 20:17).

God has already triumphed over life's challenges and has conquered the thoughts that aim to rob you of peace. He declared, "For the Lord your God is the one who goes with you to fight for you against your enemies to secure victory for you." Therefore, do not dwell in fear or anxiety, for the Lord is your defender!

If you have a connection with God, you are entitled to an inheritance, which includes peace. In God's realm, inheritance is not limited to material wealth; it encompasses everything belonging to His Kingdom (Ephesians 1:11). When we accept Jesus, we gain access to all that He has.

"And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose."

— Romans 8:28

God possesses all power and the greatest might, and nothing can resist Him (2 Chronicles 20:6). He is the one who supports us and grants us His peace to protect our minds and thoughts.

Let God's peace take care of you in life, enabling you to be liberated to live the life you were meant to live.

When the righteous cry for help, the Lord hears and delivers them out of all their troubles - Psalm 34:17.

A call for salvation

When you accept Jesus Christ as your Savior, His spirit will come to live inside you. This is one of the greatest blessings of salvation. You don't have to go through someone else to get to God, and He will live in your heart where you and Him become one and have a relationship.

All you have to do is make the choice of salvation by repenting of your sins and accepting Jesus into your life by confessing that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that He came from Heaven to die for your sins (Romans 10:9).

Here's a prayer you can repeat:

"Jesus, I confess that you are Lord, and I believe you died and was risen for my sins. I repent and ask for forgiveness of my sins, and I accept you as my personal Lord and Savior. Come into my heart and remove my sins. Thank you for forgiving me and making me into a new person in Jesus' name, Amen."

Once you have done this, please pray and ask God to guide you to a ministry where you can grow and start living the abundant life Jesus promised and died for.
