Seeing God Correctly: If this doesn't make it clear, what will?

If this verse doesn't make clear the enormity of God's love for us, I don't know what else would.

It reveals the depth of His love and how far God has gone, and will go, to express, reveal, and show us just how much He loves us.

Scripture says in Romans 8:32:

"He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all, how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?"

It's conveying, what wouldn't God do for you?

seeing god clearly

God gave a part of Himself to prove the depth of His love for us.

This demonstrates that there is no limit to how far God would go for us. There are no bounds to what God would do for us, as He has already shown by giving us His beloved Son.

I believe it's crucial for us to truly understand this, because throughout life, numerous things attempt to persuade us that God doesn't love us.

We mess up. We make mistakes. We fall short. The list goes on. Then the enemy fills our thoughts with lies, telling us we're not worthy, that we're not good enough, that God will never accept us.

And that is such a dangerous lie to believe.

Because it is in Him that we discover we are enough. It is with Him that we recieve forgiveness. It is in Him that we experience freedom and deliverance. And it is through Him and from Him that we find the fulfillment our hearts been longing for.

Knowing this truth can change your life forever. It is a truth that sets you free.

Just look at what this one verse is telling us: God did not spare His own Son, but gave Him up for us all. Not some of us—all of us.

No matter who you are, where you come from, your background, your religion, your gender, or your ideologies, Christ gave up His life for you.

If God did this with His son, how much more would He give to you?

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. — John 3:16

We have to view God the right way and this is the correct way to understand who God is.

The verse before says:

"What then shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us?"

We have a God who has not only proven the depth of His love for us but has also shown us that He is for us. He is with us. Because of that, we don’t have to live in fear or allow worry and uncertainty to consume us.

This is a powerful Scripture because it helps us understand the depth and magnitude of how much our Lord, our Creator, loves us and what He desires for our lives. He wants us to experience the joy that comes from knowing Him and trusting Him.

The Bible shows us that God desires to give us good things. Yet we miss out on so much of who God is because we don’t see Him correctly.

We have been deceived. We have been lied to. We have been tricked. So many things have happened in our lives that have distorted our view of God.

Sometimes it is through painful circumstances. Other times it is through disappointment, fear, or the lies we have believed about ourselves. There are countless ways this deception can take root.

But if we could simply grasp Romans 8:32 and also remember what was said in the preceding verse, and allow them to take root in our hearts, our perspective would completely change.

It would change the way you live!

What then shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? — Romans 8:31

When you understand that God is with you, your life should be elated and exciting. Filled with confidence and hope.

And on top of that, Romans 8:35 ask:

Who shall separate us from the love of Christ?

Paul then goes on to show that nothing can separate us from His love in Romans 8:38-39:

For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, 39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

This should be our confidence, our peace, our joy, our hope, and our satisfaction—that the great I AM, the Almighty God, the Sovereign One, loves us like this.

Think about that.

The Creator of the universe loves you with a love that cannot be broken, diminished, or taken away.

That truth should cause us to celebrate every day.

Let's stop interpreting God's love through your circumstances and start interpreting it through what God has already revealed about His love.

You don't have to live as though you're trying to convince God to love you. You can now live from the assurance of the love He has already demonstrated and continues to demonstrate through Jesus Christ.

Pray this:

Lord, I pray that you would help me live with this understanding and this truth. Help me to see you rightly. Help me to see you as you truly are.

This is who You are. This is how you see me. This is how much You love me.

I pray that I would walk in this understanding, this truth, this perspective, this fact, and this reality.

Let it move from my head to my heart and transform the way I live every day. Because I know that if I truly embrace this truth, it will change my life forever.

In Jesus' name, Amen.

Take the First Step: Receive Salvation

When you accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior, His Spirit comes to live in you. You no longer have to rely on anyone else to reach God—He is with you, guiding every step.

Here’s how to receive this gift:

  1. Repent of your sins and acknowledge your need for forgiveness.

  2. Believe that Jesus died for your sins and rose again.

  3. Invite Jesus into your life and commit to following Him.

  4. Confess Him as Lord over your life.

When you take this step, you are saved and welcomed into God’s Kingdom—becoming a member of the family of Christ!

Prayer to Receive Salvation

"Jesus, I confess that You are Lord, and I believe in my heart that You died and rose again for my sins. I repent and ask for Your forgiveness. I invite You into my heart and life, and I receive you as my personal Lord and Savior. In Jesus’ name, Amen."

Renounce the Kingdom of Darkness

To fully embrace your new life in Christ, renounce any ties to darkness and recommit yourself to God:

"Right now, I renounce and break all ties, covenants, and agreements with the kingdom of darkness, knowingly or unknowingly made. I reject Satan, all his works, and every influence of evil over my life. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit. Lead me, teach me, and establish me in Your purpose. From this day forward, I belong to Jesus. I am a child of God, and I walk in the light. In Jesus’ name, Amen."

Grow in Your Faith

After taking this step, seek a church or ministry where you can grow spiritually, learn more about God’s Kingdom, and start walking in the abundant life He promised (John 10:10).
