The Ultimate Satisfier

Updated: 6 days ago

Envision a reality where every longing, every desire, and every void within you is filled with a sense of completeness and contentment. This is the promise from God. With God, gone are the days of feeling empty inside, searching for meaning and purpose. No longer will you be plagued by a sense of emptiness; instead, you will find yourself brimming with a newfound sense of wholeness and joy.

You will no longer experience emptiness within, as it will become a feeling of the past.

Joy

According to John 4:13-14, Jesus responded, “Anyone who drinks this water will become thirsty once more, but those who drink the water I provide will never be thirsty. In fact, the water I provide will turn into a spring within them, leading to eternal life."

Having a relationship with Jesus ensures that we will always have what we need! Jesus can meet our needs and fulfill all our desires, removing any feelings of dissatisfaction.

He will offer us such a sense of fulfillment that we won't feel compelled to seek relationships, social groups, or activities to feel complete. His presence will grant us happiness, peace, and satisfaction, ensuring we never desire anything or anyone else, except Him.

You will no longer depend on detrimental or temporary substances like drugs. Seeking validation through relationships for fulfillment will cease. But the key is to focus on establishing a connection with Jesus, the source, as doing so will fulfill your desires and nourish your spirit.

Also, you will no longer feel the need to pursuit things that in the end only stringed-you-along and never give you fulfillment.

A typical example of your efforts is the quest for money. If you prioritize pursuing money over seeking God, money, or the resources associated with it (such as a job, business, or opportunity), it can turn into your idol. It takes the place of your Creator and becomes your source of dependency and happiness.

This decision brings challenges such as temptations, negative influences, deviating from your goals, and never achieving complete satisfaction, as you will constantly desire more.

When you seek God rather than wealth, the Lord will constantly lead you, "providing you water," ensuring you always have what you need during your dry periods, and renewing your strength. You will resemble a well-watered garden, like a perpetually flowing spring (Isaiah 58:11 NLT).

When you are dealing with depression or anxiety, (the source) can console you (Psalms 94:19)... When you know you have someone to fall back on for anything, whom you can trust, who has all the answers, who will provide and protect you, then you have much to be joyful for (Romans 15:13).

For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking, but of righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit. (Romans 14:17)

Having Jesus in your life brings peace.

There are many things on earth that can disrupt our peace. You don't have to look far or outside yourself to notice that peace-stealers surround us. Nevertheless, the satisfaction that comes from God enables you to remain at peace even in unsettling circumstances.

Some of us have lived life thinking we have to accept this way of living, but a life with Jesus offers a different experience. His peace has the strength to eliminate anything or anyone hindering your joy (Proverbs 14:30).

By connecting with this source (Jesus), you will find the ultimate fulfillment, eliminating the need to change jobs, move, or look for a new partner. You will live a life of abundance—a complete life (John 10:10). Furthermore, the urge for greed will disappear as the excessive desire fades away.

You will no longer feel empty inside because you are now living with purpose. With purpose as your driving force, you will find clarity and direction, leaving confusion behind.

Yearning for something with the belief it will bring happiness will be replaced. Worldly concerns will no longer occupy your mind, and those fervent desires will diminish.

This is what being free in Christ Jesus looks like.

It will free you from anything in life that robs you of joy and peace, or that holds you in mental or physical captivity (John 8:35, 2 Corinthians 3:17, John 8:32).

Jesus is the supreme source of satisfaction.

In Jesus Christ, you will experience total fulfillment. You won't depend on material possessions, resources, people, fame, career, titles, positions, wealth, or social status for happiness, contentment, or joy. He will be your sole desire and need.

“My nourishment,” Jesus said, “comes from doing the will of the one who sent me and completing his workJohn 4:34.

Like Jesus, by adhering to the Father's will, you will receive everything necessary for sustenance and growth in life. You will no longer depend on fleeting or materialistic things, solutions, or services to live a fulfilling life.

Experience Jesus, and you'll find that you'll never thirst again!

A call for salvation

When you accept Jesus Christ as your Savior, His spirit will become one with yours. This is one of the greatest blessings of salvation. You don't have to go through someone else to get to God, as you and Him are now one.

All you must do is receive salvation, simply choosing to repent of your sins and welcome Jesus into your life by confessing Him as Lord. In Romans 10:9 Paul said, "If you confess with your mouth Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."

Here's a Prayer that you can pray to get saved:

Jesus, I confess that you are Lord, and I believe in my heart that you died and were risen for my sins. I ask for forgiveness of my sins, and I accept you as my personal Lord and Savior—in Jesus' name, Amen.

After this step, pray for guidance to find a ministry where you can grow spiritually, gain knowledge about the kingdom, and begin living the abundant life promised by Jesus.
