Why God’s Word Works—and How to Make It Work in Your Life

We rule with His Word.
As believers, we exercise the spiritual authority God has given us by speaking, believing and acting according to His Word.
What does this mean in everyday life?
1. We stand on God's promises. When circumstances contradict what God has said, we remain confident in His Word rather than allowing fear to control us.
2. We use God's Word against the enemy. When Satan tempted Jesus in the wilderness (Matthew 4:1–11), Jesus responded with Scripture, saying, “It is written.” He demonstrated the authority of God's Word.
3. We exercise spiritual authority. Jesus gave His disciples authority over the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19). We exercise the authority He gives us through faith, prayer, surrender, and obedience.
4. We allow God's Word to govern and preside over our lives. Before we can speak about ruling with God's Word, we must first allow His Word to rule our thoughts, decisions and actions.
His Word has the power to break through what seems immovable.
"Is not my word like as a fire? saith the Lord; and like a hammer that breaketh the rock in pieces?" - Jeremiah 23:29
God's Word carries His authority. It is not merely information to hear but truth that demands a response.
God's Word is living (which means it can grow, move, reproduce, breathe, and carryout what it says). It has the ability to expand, progress, replicate, thrive, and fulfill its purpose. God's Word is alive, not dead. This is why when we speak His Word, it yields results.
Hebrews 4:12 ESV - For the word of God is living and active (engaging or ready to engage), sharper (more intense) than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart.
God's Word has the power to bring healing, deliverance, and compliance to any situation, as well as override any negative circumstances you may face.
It has the power and ability to change your mindset, heart, and life. Therefore, speak God's Word over your life, situations, family, relationships, businesses, careers, mindset, health, and future to allow them to align with what God says.
When you believe God's Word over anything, His word overrides that situation and becomes your new reality.

Take the First Step: Receive Salvation
When you accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior, His Spirit comes to live in you. You no longer have to rely on anyone else to reach God—He is with you, guiding every step.
Here’s how to receive this gift:
Repent of your sins and acknowledge your need for forgiveness.
Believe that Jesus died for your sins and rose again.
Invite Jesus into your life and commit to following Him.
Confess Him as Lord over your life.
When you take this step, you are saved and welcomed into God’s Kingdom—becoming a member of the family of Christ!
Prayer to Receive Salvation
"Jesus, I confess that You are Lord, and I believe in my heart that You died and rose again for my sins. I repent and ask for Your forgiveness. I invite You into my heart and life, and I receive you as my personal Lord and Savior. In Jesus’ name, Amen."
Renounce the Kingdom of Darkness
To fully embrace your new life in Christ, renounce any ties to darkness and recommit yourself to God:
"Right now, I renounce and break all ties, covenants, and agreements with the kingdom of darkness, knowingly or unknowingly made. I reject Satan, all his works, and every influence of evil over my life. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit. Lead me, teach me, and establish me in Your purpose. From this day forward, I belong to Jesus. I am a child of God, and I walk in the light. In Jesus’ name, Amen."
Grow in Your Faith
After taking this step, seek a church or ministry where you can grow spiritually, learn more about God’s Kingdom, and start walking in the abundant life He promised (John 10:10).
