You Don’t Have To Live Like This—Don’t Settle for Sickness: Jesus Wants You Free

Reject the lie, receive the healing and don’t accept or settle for what Jesus died to free you from. Because this isn’t normal—it’s warfare!

The enemy will whisper all kinds of lies to you—lies meant to separate you from the truth of God’s love.
He’ll tell you that God doesn’t love you, that God wants you to suffer, that this pain is your fault, that you brought it on yourself and now deserve to live with the consequences.
He’ll say that nothing can be done, that you should just accept the pain, live with it, manage it, and move on. He’ll twist the narrative and make it sound spiritual or normal or unavoidable. But all of it is a lie.
The truth is this: the enemy is the one who brings pain, not God.
Whether it’s something passed down through generations, the result of an accident, or the product of poor habits or health decisions, the enemy seizes any opportunity to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). And then, like the deceiver he is, he turns around and blames God, hoping to poison your faith, your hope, and your trust in the One who actually came to heal you and set you free.
Pain, sickness, and oppression were never God’s will for us. That’s why Jesus came—to destroy the works of the devil (1 John 3:8), to redeem what was broken, and to restore what was lost.
Scripture clearly tells us that Jesus bore our sickness and carried our pains so we wouldn't have to live under the weight of them (Isaiah 53:4-5).
He took our infirmities and carried our diseases (Matthew 8:17).
And His desire is that we live in health and prosper, even as our souls prosper (3 John 2).
There are numerous examples in Scripture that show how deeply Jesus cared about freeing people from physical, emotional, and spiritual bondage. He didn’t just heal—He longed to heal.
Luke 8:43-48 – A woman who suffered for 12 years was instantly healed when she touched Jesus’ garment. He called her “daughter” and affirmed her faith.
Mark 5:35-42 – Jesus raised Jairus’ daughter from the dead, proving that not even death is beyond His authority.
Luke 17:11-19 – Ten lepers cried out for mercy, and He cleansed them all. He recognized and honored the one who came back to thank Him.
Matthew 8:14-15 – Jesus healed Peter’s mother-in-law with just a touch, and she immediately got up and served.
But beyond these individual stories, we see Jesus’ deep compassion:
Matthew 9:35-36 – Jesus healed every disease and sickness, and when He saw the crowds, He was moved with compassion for them.
Luke 4:18-19 – He declared that He was anointed to proclaim freedom for the captives and set the oppressed free.
Matthew 8:2-3 – When a leper asked if He was willing, Jesus immediately replied, “I am willing,” and healed him.
Mark 1:40-41 – Jesus was moved with deep emotion, reaching out to touch and heal a man who was rejected by society.
John 11:33-35 – Even knowing He would raise Lazarus, Jesus wept with those who were grieving. His heart is tender toward our suffering.
These verses don't just document healings; they reveal the character and heart of Jesus—He is still the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8). He still heals. He still cares. He still sets people free.
So don’t believe the lie of the enemy concerning your sickness or your pain. Go to Jesus—not as a last resort, but as your Healer, Redeemer, Deliverer, and first resort. He passionately desires to see you whole and free.
As a believer, healing is your right—sickness is both temporary and preventable. Therefore, keep your faith, because even if the healing hasn’t come yet, when you stand on faith one day it’ll just be gone. Whether you’re healed all at once or in stages, either way—it’ll all be gone.

A call for salvation
When you accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, His Spirit becomes one with yours. This is one of the greatest blessings of salvation. You no longer need to go through anyone else to reach God—because you and He are now united.
All you need to do is receive the gift of salvation by repenting of your sins, inviting Jesus into your life, and confessing Him as Lord. This involves acknowledging your sin and the need for forgiveness, believing that Jesus died for your sins and rose again, and then surrendering your life to Him.
As Romans 10:9 declares, “If you confess with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.” And 1 John 4:15 assures us, “If anyone acknowledges that Jesus is the Son of God, God lives in them and they in God.”
Another important step is to renounce the kingdom of darkness. By doing so, you are breaking any covenant or partnership with it and recommitting yourself to the Kingdom of Light—Jesus Christ.
When you take this step, you are saved and welcomed into God’s Kingdom—becoming a member of the family of Christ!
Here's a Prayer that you can pray to get saved:
"Jesus, I confess that You are Lord, and I believe in my heart that You died and rose again for my sins. I know that I am a sinner, and I repent and ask for Your forgiveness. I invite You to come into my heart and life, and I receive You as my personal Lord and Savior. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Renounce the Kingdom of Darkness
Right now, I renounce and break all ties, covenants, and agreements with the kingdom of darkness, knowingly or unknowingly made. I reject Satan, all his works, and every influence of evil over my life.
Fill me with Your Holy Spirit. Lead me, teach me, and establish me in Your purpose. From this day forward, I belong to Jesus. I am a child of God, and I walk in the light. In Jesus' name, Amen.
After this step, pray for guidance to find a ministry where you can grow spiritually, gain knowledge about the kingdom, and begin living the abundant life promised by Jesus.
