This blog will demonstrate how God guided Joseph's ascent to power and how understanding God's nature, power, and capabilities can elevate us in life, regardless of what happens to us, when we have faith, understanding, and knowledge of God.
From Series: Life lesson learned from the Bible—(Genesis 41:1-40).

Nothing Stops God’s Purpose
The story of Joseph, beautifully illustrates how God orchestrates every detail of our lives, even through hardships, for a greater purpose.
Joseph’s journey—from being sold into slavery to becoming second in command of Egypt—wasn’t a series of random events but a divine setup. God used Pharaoh’s dreams, the cupbearer’s memory, and even Joseph’s unjust imprisonment to position him for his destiny.
The enemy knows God’s power and plans, and his strategy is to keep us unaware, making us doubt, complain, or even give up in tough times. But when challenges arise, we must trust that God is working behind the scenes, using every situation—good or bad—for our ultimate good.
Instead of falling into despair, blaming others, or misjudging someone’s struggles, we should remember that God’s hand might be at work, setting us up for something greater. No interference or setback can derail His plan.
As long as we trust Him, we will never be put to shame (Psalm 25:3). Whatever happens, God is always in control, turning obstacles into stepping stones for His divine purpose.
Unstoppable Destiny With God
Even though Joseph was thrown into prison, God was already working behind the scenes. He orchestrated events so that two of Pharaoh’s officials had dreams they couldn’t understand, knowing Joseph—respected even in jail—would inquire and interpret them. God also knew the cupbearer would eventually remember Joseph at the right time, when Pharaoh himself needed a dream interpreted—one that only Joseph could explain.
The enemy knows how God works. That’s why he tries to use our hardships to break us, to steal our hope, kill our faith, and destroy our purpose (John 10:10). This is why trusting God is so critical. Without that trust, we risk responding to difficulties in the wrong way—falling into despair, giving up, blaming God, or judging others unfairly. Instead of rising above our struggles, like Joseph, we can end up bitter, defeated, and lost.
Joseph’s promotion to second in command of Egypt was always part of God’s plan (Genesis 37:5–11; Genesis 42:6). Though being falsely accused and imprisoned may not have been in the original blueprint (Psalm 56:8; Psalm 139:16; Job 19:23-24), God factored in every challenge.
Nothing can sabotage His purpose for our lives. No setback, interference, or deviation is beyond His ability to use for our good (Romans 8:28).
As believers, our lives are in God’s hands (Deuteronomy 7:8; Psalm 31:15; Isaiah 41:10). No one who puts their hope in Him will be put to shame (Psalm 25:3). That’s why we must be careful how we perceive both our own struggles and those of others. What may look like misfortune or failure could actually be God setting things up for a greater purpose, and like Joseph, lifting us to new heights we never imagined.
Solution on how to stay in God's divine setup
To have the same outcome like Joseph we need to:
Hold onto your dreams
Have confidence in God and trust His timing
Inquire wisdom from God
Have hope even in your prison situations
Value relationship. Be careful to not ruin your relationships. Your relationship with a certain person could be the connection God put together to elevate you. Like Joseph, his relationship with the cupbearer connected Joseph and Pharaoh who was the highest ruler in the nation.
Joseph's life demonstrates that what the enemy intended for harm, God can transform into good.
Your challenges are not in vain; they are woven into the fabric of God’s larger plan.
Therefore, remain faithful, keep hope alive, and trust that each phase of your life is setting the stage for the next.

A call for salvation
When you accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, His Spirit becomes one with yours. This is one of the greatest blessings of salvation. You no longer need to go through anyone else to reach God—because you and He are now united.
All you need to do is receive the gift of salvation by repenting of your sins, inviting Jesus into your life, and confessing Him as Lord. This involves acknowledging your sin and the need for forgiveness, believing that Jesus died for your sins and rose again, and then surrendering your life to Him.
As Romans 10:9 declares, “If you confess with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.” And 1 John 4:15 assures us, “If anyone acknowledges that Jesus is the Son of God, God lives in them and they in God.”
Another important step is to renounce the kingdom of darkness. By doing so, you are breaking any covenant or partnership with it and recommitting yourself to the Kingdom of Light—Jesus Christ.
When you take this step, you are saved and welcomed into God’s Kingdom—becoming a member of the family of Christ!
Here's a Prayer that you can pray to get saved:
"Jesus, I confess that You are Lord, and I believe in my heart that You died and rose again for my sins. I know that I am a sinner, and I repent and ask for Your forgiveness. I invite You to come into my heart and life, and I receive You as my personal Lord and Savior. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Renounce the Kingdom of Darkness
Right now, I renounce and break all ties, covenants, and agreements with the kingdom of darkness, knowingly or unknowingly made. I reject Satan, all his works, and every influence of evil over my life.
Fill me with Your Holy Spirit. Lead me, teach me, and establish me in Your purpose. From this day forward, I belong to Jesus. I am a child of God, and I walk in the light. In Jesus' name, Amen.
After this step, pray for guidance to find a ministry where you can grow spiritually, gain knowledge about the kingdom, and begin living the abundant life promised by Jesus.
