"What to do with your Anxieties"

1:2

Here's a short blog intended to help you deal with anxiety.

Whenever you are anxious tell God about it. 1 Peter 5:7 NIV says, "Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you." The TLB translation says, "Let him have all your worries and cares, for he is always thinking about you and watching everything that concerns you."

Anxious means to experience worry, unease, or nervousness, typically about an imminent event or something with an uncertain outcome. It's when you want something to happen so much is causes uneasiness. (Ref. Oxford Languages)

In moments like these we have a solution, and that is to give our problems and concerns to God. Throw them far away from yourself. And distance yourselves from your worry, uneasiness, nervousness, fear, and uncertainty. Let God take your burdens away so you can have peace.

Philippians 4:6-7 CEB says, "Don’t be anxious about anything; rather, bring up all of your requests to God in your prayers and petitions, along with giving thanks. Then the peace of God that exceeds all understanding will keep your hearts and minds safe in Christ Jesus."

The next time you begin to feel anxious about a situation tell God about it, and trust that He will help you.
