It’s not stress that kills us, it is our reaction to it - Hans Selye.
Why worry when your Father is the ruler over everything!
Why worry when He rules it all (1 Chronicles 29:11).
When you are in a position of rulership this means you have dominion over what was given to you or what was taken by you. You exercise government over that which is yours.
This is exactly what position Jesus Christ is over the earth. When He died He did it with us in mind. He did it with the intend to take back dominion and become sovereign over the earth. He stripped and took this back from the kingdom of darkness.
Most of us understand that the enemy is the prince of this earth. It is not because he is the ultimate ruler, it is because it was given it to him unwillingly. In the beginning the dominion over the earth was with us humans but because of trickery and deception it was swindled from us (Genesis 1:26, Genesis 3).
However, the great news is, the authority was won back for us through Jesus Christ (Mathew 28:1-20; Hebrews 2:5-8; Mark 15:21-47; 16:1-19).
We are in full control and leadership of our destiny, situation, circumstance, and anything in this world. So, ignore the lies that whispers in your ear telling you you're nothing, to give up, it's too hard, and I can't. And understand the position you are in, a position of a ruler and king over this earth.

To stress is like beating a dead horse, it is not going to get you anywhere.
Let me tell you the many disadvantages of being stress:
Depression is one of the worse pits, to fall into because once you are in, it is extremely hard to get out. I hate depression with every bone in my body because I've been a victim of it for many years. It stole my childhood and parts of my early years in life. You have to be careful with depression because it is a trap design to steal, hopefully kill and destroy you.
John 10:10 says, "The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full."
Stress can affect your concentration. It disrupts your daily activities making it hard to focus. It can cause forgetfulness, anxiety, and depression.
"Iceberg stress can be triggered by habits so ingrained that we may not always be aware of them, such as perfectionism or negative self-talk," explains David Lewis, Ph.D., a psychologist and part of the International Stress Management Association.
For instance, you look at your neighbor's house and lament (cry) that yours will never be as chic and at work, you worry that your boss is frustrated with you. This type of thinking becomes so automatic that you don't even notice it, but the accompanying tension is building quietly and doing physical and emotional damage.
I know this one first-hand.
For years during stressful times, (which I did not know it was stress), I would feel pain. It would trigger pain in my nerve until I found out that the pain came from stress. After looking into it I saw it to be true. I was a perfectionist and having this personality guarantees stress. As a perfectionist, you set your bar of expectation so high it becomes unachievable. Then when you do not meet it, you stress. Basically, you set the trap for yourself then walk right into it.
Because when we stress it releases hormones such as adrenaline and cortisol that increases your breathing and heart rate. If not dealt with, it can lead to high blood pressure and inflammation. And from my experience when my nerves would be inflamed it cause terrible pains which caused me more stress and eventually depression.
Either you are in peace or not, you cannot have both. How can you be tranquil if you are in pain, depressed, frustrated, or confused? Stress is a peace stealer. If you are stressed in your body then you cannot be at pace in your soul. Anything or anyone that tries to steal your peace, your sanity, and life, walk away.
If you're not at peace then most likely you are not happy because peace bring happiness. Peace allows you to be happy in unhappy situations.
When you are feeling stressed your battling several different emotions, like anxiety, fear, anger or sadness. These feelings can feed on each other producing physical symptoms making you feel worse.
Are you starting to see the many disadvantages of stress? And I haven’t even finished.
But let me sum it up.
Stress opens the door to bad habits and addictions. If causes mood swings or being in a mad mood. It affects your temper as you are quick to get angry causing people to not want to be around you.
It can cause premature ageing causing you to age faster than normal. When you are stressed you can lose sleep which affects your immune system again, causing you to get sick. Then there is anxiety that causes fear and concern. And eagerness that leads to impatience then bad choices.
I understand being stress for fight or flight which is a natural response to perceived harm, attack, or threats. Outside of that, we should not allow life’s events to stress us.
