Blog inspired by Ephesians 5:9.

"When you have light, you become intelligent, smart, and sharp because you have God’s power pulling out of you with intensity. Whatever you do you will be brilliant and excellent at it, while living an exceptional life.”

The relationships we have should influence us to grow, mature, and improve. They should be with individuals who are living lifestyles that are complementary to who we desire to be, and with people who show us a better way to live.

Relationships are valuable because they can either help or hurt you in achieving your purpose, and they can advance or hinder your destiny.

Having the right relationship is important because it can propel you to achieve a high level of success and can help you become aware of your potential. An excerpt from It's OK To Be Single.

God wants to have a personal relationship with you so He can become your light so you can shine in life.

As one iron sharpens another iron to improve its effectiveness and to make the other iron more suitable, God makes our life much better.

His light allows you to tap into your God given potential where you will always be successful and have the life you were destined to live.

The Scripture says, "For the fruit of the light consists in all goodness, righteousness, and truth"— Ephesians 5:9.

The Scripture is saying, the results of having a relationship with Jesus is, He becomes your light which involves experiencing complete excellence, favor, guidance, and He becomes the ultimate satisfier in your life. You will not have some, but instead have God's complete goodness, righteousness, and truth.

God goodness makes sure you are always provided for and is your protection (Matthew 6:25–34). His goodness consist of recovering everything you have lost and giving you the desires of your heart (Isaiah 61:7, Psalm 37:4).

God's righteousness helps build character and having good character can shape the outcome of your life because you must have the right character if you want your life to be impactful, influential, and successful.

And God's truth is who God is. It is His nature. He is faithful and loyal, which are qualities you need and should have if you want your relationships and connections to be successful.

The result of having Jesus in our life is He becomes our 'light' that provides us with His safety, helps us know what to do or where to go in life, gives us an exceptional life of grace, favor, and mercy, and develops us into individuals that other people will want to be around.

This Scripture shows us what we get when we decide to have a relationship with God. A relationship with God is more than going to church for a feel good experience. It is more than reading a book that gives you instructions for the betterment of your life. It is more than listening to someone God uses for people to turn to as they allow God to be in control of their life to help many people in life. But, a relationship with God is all that is mentioned and more.

Going to church will be more than spectating as you understand the benefit of involvement, worship, and praise. You will see how worship takes your mind off problems and instead see the solutions because you have given the problem to God.

The act of worship removes anxiety, fear, or concerns and replaces it with God's peace and joy. You will recognize that there is no need to worry because God is dealing or has dealt with your problem so you can live your life while God works out your issues.

God is not playing catch up or dealing with things as they come. He has already dealt with them. Nor is He is ever surprised or in trouble scrambling trying to figure things out.

You will also see how the Bible is used as a guide to help you grow, mature, and get you through anything in life. Then as you commune and fellowship with God more, your mind will start to be renewed and your priorities will change along with your values and attitude.

The Bible is good for helping you with your character and personality and is your spiritual mirror, because it shows you who you really are inside (James 1:23). In addition, the Bible teaches life lessons and helps you grow in wisdom.

Then as you remain faithful with your relationship, you will experience the dept of His love and see how God's love is too strong to leave us the way we are.

His love looks beyond our faults and instead sees our need. The lengths He will go to express His passion to you is limitless (Romans 8:38-39). This reason is why He has chosen individuals to be an expression of His love so you can see the benefits and want it too.

There are benefits to having a relationship with God, and although there are too many to mention, this Scripture tells us that one of them is His light which consist of His goodness, righteousness, and truth. God knows what you need and as you pursue Him all these things will be given to you.

"Do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own"

— Matthew 6:34.

With God you will be content and satisfied. You do not have to worry about issues or incidents, because with God there are answers and His peace is available to you.

You will live carefree knowing you can place your expectations, dreams, and hope with God because He is all that you need, and He has already provided whatever it is you need.

The role God plays in our lives is to be the light so we will not make bad decisions. He is the light, and no darkness is in Him (1 john 1:5).

When there is light you can see and when it is dark you cannot see. When you are not able to see you put yourself at risk of stumbling and making bad choices. You stumble because you cannot see what is before you.

If there are traps, you cannot see it, so you walk right into it unwillingly. This is what sin is—a trap. If you had seen the trap, you would not walk into it.

When you have light, you can see every trap in front of you, and you can walk around it or over it and it will not catch you. God's role is to be your light so you can always see the traps that are in front you.

Life with God is an adventure and a good one. God’s intentions for you are always good because it is His nature to be good (Galatians 5:22–23). God’s goodness is a gift and is given to anyone who trusts in Him (Psalm 31:19). An excerpt from My Love Is Unconditional

“Taste and see that the Lord is good” — Psalm 34:8.

For you to partake of all that His light offers, you must have a relationship with Jesus Christ, then you will be like others who have witnessed and experienced the goodness of God.

Allow God to be a light in your life so you can be like a town built on a hill that cannot be hidden (Matthew 5:14).

"I pray that the Father of glory, the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, would impart to you the riches of the Spirit of wisdom and the Spirit of revelation to know him through your deepening intimacy with him. I pray that the light of God will illuminate the eyes of your imagination, flooding you with light, until you experience the full revelation of the hope of His calling that is, the wealth of God’s glorious inheritances that He finds in us, His holy ones! — Ephesians 1:17-18 (NLT)
